Meet the Date Dealer: "DATE or NO DATE?"

After the first three rounds the phone rings. The Date Dealer offers one of the dates you wrote for that round, right now, in exchange for their envelope. Say DATE and the game ends with that date (and they find out what they gave up). Say NO DATE and the offer burns.

At the end it's stick or swap: keep their envelope or trade it for the last one on the board.

How does the pick-an-envelope date game work?

Your partner picks one of 20 sealed envelopes and keeps it. Over four rounds they open the others, and every opened envelope is a date leaving the game. After rounds 1, 2 and 3 the Date Dealer offers a date you wrote in exchange for their envelope. At the end it's stick or swap, and the last envelope reveals the date you go on.

What do you put in date night envelopes?

A mix of sizes. Our game uses four tiers: 8 Sweet dates (simple, cosy), 6 Lovely (a special evening), 4 Dreamy (big experiences) and 2 Perfect (the jackpot). We suggest all of them from 199 ideas, so you never start from a blank page.

Can I write my own dates?

Yes. Every envelope can be swapped for another idea, picked from the catalog or written by hand, with its own icon.

Can we replay it?

As many times as you like. Every replay reshuffles which date is in which envelope. One payment of $3.99.

Do we need to print anything?

No paper, no scissors, no Canva. It's an online game that runs in the phone's browser.
